AT-REG, the Athletic Therapist Regulation Advisory Group, is focused clearly on the advancement of the AT profession through regulation, starting with the province of Ontario. The Group is committed to sharing research, case studies, reports, risk of harm models and specialty frameworks to advance any provincial regulation opportunity.

This Group in NO way is a competitor to the national AT Association body in Canada. The group in NO way challenges the national certification mark as the key distinction to entry to practice as an AT. In fact, like the model that achieved regulation in every American state but California (1971 - 2015), the Certification Mark is an important distinction. Regulation opportunities are underway in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. This organization is here to help.
